The History of H. Gerstner & Sons, Inc.

1884 was a very important year for H. Gerstner & Sons. It was the year company founder Harry Gerstner was born. Some other very notable and interesting events were taking place around the country at this time: the Statue of Liberty was completed, Boston and New York were first linked by telephone, the Cincinnati Reds held their first game at Crosley Field, and Dayton, Ohio, had its first paved street. Dayton Industrial

Dayton Industrial Style refers to a distinctive furniture design originating from the industrial boom in Dayton during the early to mid-20th century. This style seamlessly combines elements of Shaker, Craftsman, and Industrial designs, creating a unique blend of old-school charm and modern functionality. One example of the style are the wood machinist chests attributed to Harry Gerstner.

CRAFTSMANSHIP

Single Barrel Reserve, Dayton-style Whiskey launch.

Made with a blend of Midwest artisanal grains and water from the Great Miami Buried Valley Aquifer, this original whiskey was meticulously distilled here in Dayton, Ohio. If you reserved a bottle but couldn’t attend, you can pick it up at Dayton Barrel Works until April 15th. Any remaining bottles will be available for sale there as well.
