    The Gerstner Style 30 was a chest designed for Draftsmen.

    The Dimensions of the chest were”
    Style 30 – 13-1/2″ wide x 6″ tall x 9″ deep

    There was a lift-out tray that was felted on the bottom. The chest also included a block that held 3 bottles of ink (seen on the left).

    The Gerstner Style 83 was designed for the Mechanic who didn’t need an assortment of drawers for thier tools. There was a hinged tray that had dividers mounted to the lid.

    The 4 models and thier sizes are:
    Style 83 – 13″ wide x 7″ tall x 6″ deep
    Style 83A – 19-1/2″ wide x 9″ tall x 8-1/4″ deep
    Style 83B – 25-1/2″ wide x 11″ tall x 8-1/4″ deep
    Style 83C – 31″ wide x 11″ tall x 8-1/4″ deep

    The case had a top handle for portability. The larger chests were were ideal for carpenter’s use since they would hold saws and levels easily.
