I am a retired Phone Company engineer and a disabled Vietnam veteran. I started restoring these boxes over seven years ago after I moved to Florida. Surgeries to my right wrist and elbow severely limited my Alfa Romeo restoration efforts, so I switched to machinists' tool boxes. I have restored over 250 by now and have chronicled their restorations on my web sites.
