These new cutting boards break away from the traditional Gerstner chests and cases. These boards feature a drip groove, and edge grooves for easy lifting, and a supply of cutting board oil and wax to prepare the surface.
Crafted with sustainably harvested walnut. Our standard edge grain cutting boards are a sturdy 1.6″ thick and feature a deep chocolate color highlighted with black streaks and some lighter-colored sapwood. Due to the variations in rustic, or unfinished sap walnut, the edge grain cutting boards will vary from what is shown in these images. Some boards will be more consistent in color, while others will have high contrast between lighter and darker wood. Yours will look unique due to the variations in natural wood.
