Original – Half Mortise Locks from The Eagle Lock Company in Terryville, CT USA.

The Eagle Half Mortise Locks were featured on Gerstner Chests and Cases that use a lock on the front lid (door) from the 1940s – 1970s. These locks were specifically designed for use on 1/2″ thick wood, like Gerstner uses on the chest & case front lid (door).

The half mortise lock and key are still packed in its original plastic bag from The Eagle Lock Co.

We are also including some Vintage #3 x 1/2″ slotted screws that have been sitting in our inventory since the 1970s, to use when installing the lock. The Eagle Locks are from Gerstner’s A9WQ lock series.

4 – Vintage #3 x 1/2″ Flat Head Slotted Screws

The lock is 1-3/4″ wide x 1-7/16″ tall. The hole spacing is 1-3/8″ wide x 1″ tall (see picture for dimensions also).
