For decades, a Gerstner chest set the standard of expertise and professionalism for tradesmen. We continue that tradition with the 2613 Pro-Series Chest—a case designed with professional collectors, hobbyists and tradespeople in mind.
The hardwood chest exudes fine craftsmanship and attention to details. Tongue and groove construction gives it strength, durability and visual appeal. It’s also the first to include the Stop-Trac™ drawer stop system, which keeps the drawers from spilling. The top compartment and all 13 drawers are felt lined to provide extra protection for your possessions. The lockable front panel covers the front drawers for total security—and, thanks to a sliding hinge, the front panel may easily be stowed beneath the bottom drawer.
While this exquisitely crafted chest provides plenty of storage, the Pro-Series Chest can be paired with the B2705 Pro-Series Base which increases storage capabilities by 50 percent, or the R3007 Pro-Series Roller Cabinet for additional storage and mobility.
One exciting addition – with the ongoing trend toward walnut, we are proud to introduce a new natural, clear-coated Rustic Walnut option. This finish will feature the more pronounced and dramatic color shifts between Walnut’s heartwood and sapwood. It is designed to complement our traditional Natural Walnut option, with it’s hand selected, premium heartwood, even tone, and the ever-popular Dark Walnut finish.

I purchased on a few years ago in cherry. I don’t use it for tools. I use it a giant keep sake box for all my mementos, hunting diaries etc. It’s really the ultimate to keep all of your priceless memories in. If the house burns down, what I’m taking is my Gerstner with all the stuff that money can’t buy.I also recommend the liquid finisher as I can’t find anything else that gives it that incredible finish. Everything is very expensive but worth it.

Years of consideration led me to purchase this model. It is slightly larger, more beautiful and of higher quality than I anticipated. This model is basically the size of a small trunk. Bought a 2nd class chest on a sale they had. picked up the chest and base for $1000 off retail of a new 1st class combo. Could not be happier, Beautiful chest and riser, drawers slide as if they are on glass. Better then ball bearing slides. You have to hunt to find the flaw too.
I would not hesitate to recommend Gerstner and will be adding more to the collection.

I bought the American Cherry Pro – Series Chest with the addition of the brass backplates for the chest. This is better in person then seeing the pictures. The people at Gerstner are fine craftspeople and great to deal with. The chest can pass for great furniture. I am very pleased and will buy from them again
