Going places? Better take your tools. The 1805 Retro Chest is easy to carry with a comfortable handle, and—most importantly for portability—this case is secure. It has a key-locking mechanism that’ll keep all the drawers in place behind a protective front lid, plus the hardwood construction and felt lining keeps damaging moisture out. It’s just the peace-of-mind you need to bring that prized knife collection to a show or take your gun and cleaning supplies to the range. They’ll get there safely and look all-the-more impressive coming out of the Style 1805.

The Retro Chest gets its looks from its parents. The leather top-handle, mounted diamond-shaped mirror, single key-locking system, the drop-down front lid—all of these features were incorporated from our most iconic 1920s-1960s designs.

A “Factory Retouched” chest, often referred to as a “Second Class or 2nd Class” may have a slight blemish in the finish, a repaired glue joint or contain a piece of hardwood or veneer that has a minor defect – none of which are enough to affect the operation or durability of the chest itself. All “2nd Class” chests are shipped with a 30-day Satisfaction Guarantee from H. Gerstner & Sons factory in Dayton, Ohio. All 2nd Class items have been packaged for shipping and we do not track or note what was retouched on each individual chest.
