Second Class – 6″ 4R Double Square

Description

The 6″ Double Square is ideal for precision layout work and can be used either as a parallel or a double square.  The blade is durable and has an easy-to-read satin chrome finish with high contrast, micro find blade graduations.  The 4R designation means the graduations on the blade are in 8ths, 16ths, 32nds & 64ths.

These are 2nd Class Double Squares, which have blemishes in the casting, which could include tiny air bubbles or other imperfections on the head, and imperfections or scratches on the blade.  Each blade has a grind score line, to indicate it is a 2nd class unit.

The Double Square is dimensionally accurate, and we have been using these same 2nd Class Squares in Gerstner’s tool chest production for the past 20+ years.
